Specialists are to be hired when it is clear what they are to improve. At 20% functionality many specialists often only see a mess rather than a way forward. A specialist hired at 80% functionality however can show the way easily and push the organization truly into the next better version of itself. As the 20to80 guy, I prepare the organization or certain positions for specialists to do their best work.
